Integrity Biofeedback Academy
Policy and Procedures
Attendance Requirements:
Students are required to attend each class session unless conditions over which they have no control prevent them from being present. Excessive absences, whether excused or unexcused, may cause the student to be withdrawn from the class.
Student Responsibility:
It is the responsibility of the student to notify IBA in writing if the student wishes to cancel or withdraw from a course. Within 3 days of the date the student executes an enrollment agreement, he/she may cancel this contract and receive a full refund of the course fee, less the application fee which is non-refundable.
Refund Policy:
The operating budget of IBA provides for the engagement of faculty, expenses, and other provisions for physical facilities. The withdrawal of a student does not decrease the expense of IBA to any substantial extent. In many cases, classes may have been closed to other students due to capacity. The refund policy has been established so that the student who registers for a class and then withdraws will share in the incurred cost. Refunds are made in a fair and equitable manner in accordance with the policies which follow.
The date the student notifies IBA of withdrawal is considered the date of withdrawal. Fees will be charged on a pro-rata basis (rounded up to the nearest 10%) through the first half of the course, plus an administrative fee of $50. No refund will be given after the first half of the course has been completed.
Confirmation Policy:
Upon receipt of the course enrollment form, the student will receive a confirmation from IBA within 3 business days. Early enrollment is strongly recommended for courses as they tend to fill quickly. All IBA courses are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Cancellation Policy:
If a class is canceled, the student will be notified by phone and issued a full refund within 30 business days.
Assignments:
Course assignments are due as indicated on the course syllabus or instructed within each class. It is the student's responsibility to contact the instructor before the due date if extenuating circumstances prevent the assignment from being completed on time. Credit for overdue assignments is determined at the discretion of the instructor. All assignments are due at the end of the course for course credit to be issued.
Illness Policy:
Students who are absent from classes or examinations because of illness should contact their instructor on a timely basis to discuss their individual situations.
Student Accounts:
All student's accounts are due and payable at the time charges are incurred.
Class Audit Refresher Program:
Students can take a class they have completed for credit one time at no cost.
